How to Get the Best Results
To get the best print use high-quality artwork and images that are not blurry. A 300dpi png file with a transpart background is the best option. You can also upload , jpg, gifs, or eps. If you're uploading a vector file or PDF please ensure it is in RGB format. Good art in is goos art out. 

IMAGE SIZE / DPI

Upload your image to the designer will show Green (Good quality) Yellow, (OK Quality may be slightly pixelated), or Red (low quality, will print blurry). 

Example:

  • 72dpi at 10cm Wide will come out around 4cm Wide. If made larger, it will be pixellated. 
  • 200dpi at 10cm Wide will come out at 10cm Wide and no quality loss will occur. 
  • 300dpi+ at 10cm Wide will come out at 10cm Wide but can be increased to around 15cm Wide.

If you'd like to check the size of the image on your computer, you can follow the below: 

On a Mac
Open your file with the Preview app.

  • Click on Tools > Adjust Size.
  • Change the units to mm or cm.
  • This will show the size of your image & resolution. If your resolution is less than 200dpi, the physical size will be smaller than listed once uploaded. 
     

On a PC
Open your file with the Paint app. 

  • Press Ctrl+E to open Image Properties.
  • Change the units to mm or cm. 
  • This will show the physical size of your image & resolution, if it is less than 72dpi, it will most likely print blurry.

what won't print well

Generally speaking, web-based graphics or any images less than 100dpi. Upload your image to the designer to find out if it will print well.

We do not offer a design assistance service on orders under 20 units, if you require help, we suggest engaging a local Graphic Designers service, getting help from a design-savvy friend or family member or an online service called Fiverr.

PRINT COLOURS

RGB + white when printing on coloured or dark fabrics.

Specilty Ink Colours: Fluorescences or Metallics (Silver & Gold) are not avaiable via DTG or DTF process. This is only avaiable via our screen printing service so feel free to reach out for a quote here .

Mockup Colour Accuracy: Mockup designs provided on our website or via email are for reference purposes only. The actual print color may vary slightly due to CMYK printing process from what is shown in the mockup.

Mockup Print Size Accuracy: the designer may not be perfectly to scale, however the designer will display the logo size height & width mm, which you can check against a garment at home. 

PRINT Size

Depending on the size of the garment, the print size will be different. Across most garments, you will be able to print 350mm x 450mm on the front & back. 

If you're not 100% sure of how large to print, we suggest taking it old school & grabbing a ruler for reference, or measuring a similar print on a tee that you like! As a rough guide : 

Small Front Left Logo

   • Approx. 80mm - 100mm depending on logo shape & detail. 
   • Circle logos tend to look best at 60mm - 80mm.

Front / Back Centre Logo

   • Approx. 280mm Wide + depending on how bold you would like it. 

Sleeves

   • Approx. 90mm -100mm Wide
